For over 20 years, I have been practicing law, handling transactions for individuals and investors in all aspects of real estate. I began my career working with boutique corporate law firms representing clients ranging from national corporations and banks to local businesses and real estate developers, eventually moving on to the real estate and finance department of a large multi-national law firm. After the real estate crisis in 2008, I developed an expertise in creditor’s rights representing businesses and finance companies with the collection of outstanding receivables and delinquent accounts and began my venture as a solo practitioner. As the real estate industry recovered, I was able to use my broad base of legal expertise to benefit individual buyers, sellers and investors in real estate.

While many real estate transactions close relatively smoothly, clients lean on me to spot and address the unforeseen issue that could upset the apple cart or counsel them in related areas that may arise out of the transaction.

- Estate Planning and Corporate issues often arise, such as when a property may need to be titled in a way that puts the owner at an advantage, requiring a trust to be formed or an operating agreement to be drafted.

- Liens may arise on title that need careful negotiation with creditors in order put a property in position to sell.

- Property Tax Appeals make sense to incorporate into most, if not all, purchases after closing. More often than not, a Seller will have neglected to appeal their most recent assessment.

Regardless of what might arise, trust is placed in me to handle what, for most, is the largest investment of their lives. It is extremely rewarding to be able to help guide clients through this process with a sense of ease and confidence.
